Buhari expresses shock over APC Abubakar Audu death

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has also said they are yet to be officially informed of the death of the Late APC Gubernatorial candidate, Abubakar Audu.

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his shock, over the death of Prince Abubakar Audu, the APC Gubernatorial candidate, in Kogi state.

Buhari, who is currently in Iran, for the Third Gas Exporting Countries Forum, said, through his media aide, Garba Shehu,he was devastated when he heard about the death of Audu.

He also said Audu was a respected community leader and a talented politician.

The President also prayed for the repose of Abubakar Audu’s soul.

Questions have arisen, regarding the possibility of elevation of the running mate of the Late APC chieftain, to the Governorship candidate of the party, in Kogi, but the risk and fear of failure might stop that move.
