The prosecution in the trial of Isiaka Waidi and nine other persons charged with the assault on two women and a minor – Mrs. Ajoke Agomo, her daughter, Nike Salami and her step daughter, Juliana Agomo, at the Oba Morufu International Market, Ejigbo, Lagos, on Thursday closed its case  the Lagos  High Court, Ikeja, with the presentation of its final witness.

The team led by the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP,  Mrs. Idowu Alakija, told the court that one Mrs. Shola Jimoh, a photographer was to give evidence as the last witness for the prosecution before the court presided by Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye.
Alakija said a notice of additional evidence dated June 14, 2016 was filed to introduce the witness but the defence raised objections during the course of the trial about the photographs that were taken during investigation.
She said this development made it necessary to summon the photographer.
Led by the DPP, Jimoh a photographer who claimed to have had 30 years’ experience in photography, told the court that she took photographs of the defendants for the police during investigations.
