Flood sacks churches, destroys properties in Ekiti

Residents and shop owners at Adere, along Ilawe road, are lamenting following the flood that ravaged the place on Wednesday and sacked no fewer than three churches.

The rain which began about 2pm on Wednesday, lasted for four hours.

One of the residents, Pastor Abioye Emmanuel, expressed sadness over the level of destruction caused by the flood.
