Kenya police launch inquiry after officers filmed beating protester

Kenya’s police chief launched an internal inquiry on Tuesday into allegations of

police brutality after officers were filmed beating a protester who reportedly later died.

The man, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was filmed sprinting away from police who gave chase before knocking him to the ground.

He was then clubbed and kicked repeatedly by three riot officers wearing body armour.
