‘Southwest PDP’ll be stronger’
The National Vice Chairman (Southwest) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Makanjuola Ogundipe, has assured that the zone would not be relegated when a new National Working Committee (NWC) emerges from the National Convention on May 21.
Ogundipe said the party will emerge stronger and better to give credible and vibrant opposition to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital yesterday, Ogundipe stressed that the positions of National Secretary, National Publicity Secretary and National Auditor allotted to the Southwest would make the zone relevant and give it a sense of belonging in the party.
The party leader assured the members that they would be fair in the distribution of the positions among member-states.
